Vickie and Spencer have the wonder of new love,

but the deepness of a love that can only be likened

to that of an old movie: passionate and sweet.

We so enjoyed this wedding. Not only was

everyone involved simply wonderful,

but anyone who has been to a Greek Wedding

reception can tell you-they are an absolute blast!

From the absolute first moment I spoke to Rachel on the phone-

I knew her photos were going to be gorgeous.

Not only did they turn out amazing, they were beyond what I expected.

Thank you both for facing the worst April weather ever with me, and

showing us all what true love looks like.

Jamie and Jason

Jamie and Jason were just a wonderful couple! They were married on a beautiful October day, the leaves had just reached their peak and the weather was warm and sunny. Jamie wore a couture Taffeta fit and flare gown and Jason looked dapper in his classic Black tuxedo.

Melissa and Dustin

Melissa was radiant in a beautiful Taffeta floor-length gown detailed with three-dimensional Taffeta flowers on the top. Her Bridesmaids wore chiffon, one-shouldered gowns with a ruched upper torso. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and just perfectly integrated the Bridesmaids gowns with the venue.

I so enjoyed myself working with this absolutely wonderful group of people. Caring and at times hilarious, they were the perfect way to spend a sunny, fall Friday!

Janelle & Brian

Summer love! We had such a great time at Janelle and Brian's wedding. Head-to-toe in silk, Janelle wore a beautiful gown with lace trim on the bottom and pick-ups throughout the skirt.

Brian looked dapper in his classic tuxedo that he wore with style. Not only did we had a great sunny day for photos, we got to use the owner of the Safe House's convertible for some photos in the alley!

Here is a great shot of the outside of the booth. The architect I hired to design this came up with the great concept of using a triangular shape for the booth! The backside is about 5 feet wide and fits a ton of people!

We have a mirror mounted to the exterior that guests can use to make sure they look great for their photostrips!

When in Two Rivers....

Last Saturday I photographed the funniest and kindest wedding party. It was perfect-it didn't rain, the sun moved behind some clouds just when we needed it to, and the summer heat was muted by a light breeze off Lake Michigan. The Bride was beautiful in a classic white and lace gown, and the groom looked just as handsome in his black tux with white vest. Here are some preview pictures. Can't wait to finish the rest!

I spent an afternoon with the Bonis family and witnessed some of the sweetest moments....

Such a kind and generous couple, who are proud parents to a little boy named Jonathan.

Meredith is an amazing writer/singer and Josh is a brilliant scientist-I can't wait to see what Jonathan grows up to be!

The Photomatic Photobooth

I love photobooths, I always have. One day my friend and fellow photographer Tashina and I were shooting together and we decided-hey we should build a portable photobooth to rent!

Brilliant idea: check,

months and months of preparation: check,

events under our belt: check!

A poodle in springtime...

The other day I had the honor to photograph Meghan and Amanda Timmer. Not only are these two beautiful girls extremely photogenic, but they have the most amazing little poodle/sister.

She's like a human and when you put the three of them together you can just see the love between them.
